Blog 3

When reading this piece by John Stuart Mill, i was rather intrigued by his ideals and his explanation of things that normally I do not think about. As i was reading through the piece i found myself disagreeing with one of his views. He claimed that happiness is not the reason for existence which I find myself disagreeing with. I believe someone else posted in the blog about the same claim but agreed with Mills. In my opinion the real key to life IS happiness and that does not mean that their is a universal happiness for everyone. Everyone has their own ways of achieving happiness in life and i believe that if you find what truly makes you happy in life, then you have lived a purposeful life. Now there may be debates on when this ultimate happiness is achieved but i still believe that the reason for our existence is so that we can acheive full happiness.
