sex slavery

In my opinion human trafficking as well as sex slavery are two horrifying things. I do not understand how there is very limited number of laws against these types of things from happening in India. One of the key reasons why it is so hard to put a stop to sex slavery is due to the amount of people involved. In many cases the high level officials are paid to just not open their mouth and to simply look the other way. Often time’s women and young girls are held in captivity for years on end and when they are finally released into the world they do not know what to do. I think an argument can be made about what can truly be done to prevent these types of things from happening to men and women not just in India. Generally speaking I believe that we as Americans do not necessarily know the extent of these horrible things because it is not as prevalent in the media in our society. I do not think that there can be much of an argument made against human trafficking and sex slavery because of how many others too think it is disturbing.
